The poor, poor kicker. One moment he’s beloved. The next moment he’ll be lucky if he’s able to get on the team plane.

That’s likely how many are feeling towards Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh, who despite a very solid game, had an oops moment in the final minutes of his game against the Dallas Cowboys this afternoon.

After Adrian Peterson literally dragged opposing defenders into the end zone for a touchdown, all Walsh had to do was come in and kick the extra point. Simple, right? There’s really no easier job in football, but Walsh couldn’t get it done.

That resulted in the Vikings’ should be four point lead becoming a three point lead, easy enough for the Cowboys to tie with a field goal.

That of course didn’t sit well with the Vikings All-Pro running back as the former MVP was spotted on the sideline looked less than impressed after he saw the extra point was hooked by Blair.

It wouldn’t matter as Tony Romo lead the Cowboys down the field for a touchdown just minutes later.
