New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez has been in the sports world spotlight for the last couple of years because of this little steroids scandal which started after he admitted to taking them.

Since then, we all know what’s gone down. Well now Alex Rodriguez is currently facing a 211 game suspension for his ties with the Biogenesis scandal that’s involved a number of Major League Baseball players and some other athletes in different sports.

Now Lanny Davis, Rodriguez’s lawyer, wants the F.B.I. to investigate Major league Baseball. If nobody knew, Davis is a former lawyer of President Bill Clinton. We all know what he did.

Anyways, Davis spoke to the press the other day and told the New York Press the following:

"“Commissioner [Bud] Selig is the trustee of our national pastime. I repeat, my request that U.S. authorities should initiate an investigation as to whether any federal crimes have been committed by MLB investigators as well as those in the Commissioner’s office who may have been complicit in this misconduct — for example, in the purchase of stolen documents; or whether MLB filed information with the IRS that federal law requires this type of a commercial transaction involving $125,000 in cash.” Davis told reporters via the New York Post."

Rodriguez refuses to go away quietly, which means this whole situation could be turning into something that may be talked about for at least another two to three years since he’s facing the 211 game suspension.
