Artie Lange hates Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez
By Mike Dyce
There was a lot of baseball talk on Conan O’Brien’s show the other night. Boston Red Sox players Shane Victorino and Jonny Gomes were on the show talking about the win and how they’d like to give everyone in Boston a ring for their support.
They were followed by comedian Artie Lange, who is a New York Yankees fan. Lange started out by saying that these Red Sox had a special place in his heart, like many Americans feel. He went on to explain that it was because his first love “looked just like David Ortiz.”
Then he explained that like Red Sox players, he hates Alex Rodriguez and he wants him off the team.
“I know you guys hate him,” Lange said. “He’s not blue-collar like these guys … He makes $32 million a year and does the direct opposite of what we’re paying him for … He’s looks like the guy who you pay to mow your lawn, but instead he takes a dump on your lawn, and the next day he comes over and wants the money.”
Lange asked the Red Sox players to help run him out of town. He suggested the hook up with one of his ex-girlfriends like Cameron Diaz and tweet a picture to him.
