The Lakers are in Houston for a match up against their old teammate Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets. This game was circled by many when the schedule came out, as Howard was set to face his former team. Dwight Howard has played the victim card in this whole situation, and tonight’s game is no different, via PBT:

"“It’s another game.” “Listen, it’s over with man. I’m already out of there,” Howard said Monday night in Los Angeles where his Rockets lost their lone game this young season to the Clippers. “There’s no need to talk about what the Lakers could have did, I made my decision and I’m living with it. I’m happy where I’m at, I’m in a great place… I think everybody should move forward. It’s over with. This is my life. You don’t like it? So what.”"

If I was Dwight, I would say that it doesn’t mean much and move on. Quit trying to tell people that you don’t care what they say, and you’re tired of talking about it. Actually talking about it shows that you do care. He’s not a victim, and frankly I just want to see him play, and not talk. He has been called out by everyone in the Lakers organization, and he didn’t want to play pick and roll with the best pick and roll point guard for the last decade. Howard should just admit that the whole year was a mistake, and move on.
