The Washington Redskins were leading the Minnesota Vikings in the third quarter and they attempted some trickery on a fourth down to extend their lead. Unfortunately, the fake punt attempt near midfield was pathetic and they got a penalty to add on to the humiliation.
Washington went with a quick snap on the fake punt attempt and punter Sav Rocca attempted to throw the ball downfield to tight end Niles Paul.
Paul had no idea that the ball was coming his way — even worse was the fact that Rocca’s throw was horrifying.

Eventually, the Redskins re-punted the ball and got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that gave the Vikings great field position.
They went on to drive down the field on a drive that was capped off by an Adrian Peterson touchdown, which gave the Vikings a one-point lead following the successful extra point conversion.
