This Atlanta Falcons team is surely not the team we watched dominate the NFC South last season.

I figured this team would be at the top of the conference once again, giving both the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks a run for their money. I guess I was wrong, because right now this team is looking like they’ll be locking up a top 10 draft pick in next years draft by the way they’re playing.

Earlier in the year they learned that speedy wide receiver Julio Jones suffered a foot injury and would be sidelined for the remainder of the season. Shortly after that, their other big target in Roddy White ended up hurting his ankle and was sidelined for a couple games.

Now White is back appears to be ready to get things going once again for this struggling Falcons team. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Roddy White has been able to run full speed and cut into his routes which is a great sign.

"“I’ve been doing a lot of work inside the weight room and outside, getting myself ready to go. It’s going to be a battle out there. I’m excited. I just want to get back out there on the field and play.” Roddy White told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution."

The Atlanta Falcons will host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
