It was expected that the Buffalo Bills would be going back to rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel after he was cleared by the team’s medical staff to return, and now the announcement has been made official.

Bills head coach Doug Marrone let the media know that Manuel will start in Week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and that he has being looking good in practice.

He’s done a very good job,” Marrone said, via the team’s official website. “It was a challenge for him not being out there for four weeks. So we worked very hard on the mental aspect and the preparation aspect. He did a great job of that. He came out there this week and had a good week of practice. So we’re excited about putting him back out there on the field.”

While Manuel is returning to the line up, he will be slowed down by a knee brace.

The Steelers had success earlier in the season against the New York Jets and rookie quarterback Geno Smith, so they will likely come out aggressive and put Manuel under pressure early as they look to test his knee and see if he can stay composed.
