Houston Rockets star shooting guard James Harden could miss a few games thanks to an issue with his foot. The official diagnosis from the team is a bruised foot, which has him listed as day-to-day moving forward, according to Jonathan Feigen of the the Houston Chronicle.

It is almost certain that Harden will miss the team’s Saturday match up against the Los Angeles Clippers, but he could very well end up returning shortly their after.

You have to wonder how long the injury has been bothering Harden, because his defense has been a total disaster.

There is a real chance that the injury was affecting Harden’s play on the defensive side of the ball and that his bad performances led to him deciding to take some time off, but that is something that we don’t know.

For now, just plan on watching the Rockets without Harden on the court until he feels that he will have the extra pep in his step.
