Reggie Bush says Lions offense is a perfect fit
By Josh Sanchez
Running back Reggie Bush is having the best season of his professional career in his first year with the Detroit Lions, as he has been hurting defenses on the ground and in the receiving game. After spending his previous seasons with the Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints, Bush couldn’t be happier with the team’s offense and he feels that it is because of the fit the current system has for his talents.
Bush was recently speaking about the Lions offense, when he said that this is the first time in his NFL career that he feels like he is able to fit in to the offense.
“It’s because of the system, the way I’m used,” Bush told Albert Breer of the NFL Network. “It’s pretty even. When I was in New Orleans, it was more passing. When I was in Miami, it was a lot more running and very little passing. Here’s the best of both worlds for me.”
Bush will take on the Chicago Bears in Week 10, who he was able to torch earlier in the season, so he will hope to repeat his success and continue to build on the strong season that he has been putting together.
