There was a scary moment early in the Dallas Cowboys game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Cowboys wide receiver and return man Dwayne Harris went down and hit his head. Harris was running out-of-bounds and appeared to be hit late, which sent him flying into a Saints defensive lineman on the side line.

Harris took a forearm to the head from that lineman, then spun around and landed on his back and his head bounces off the turf. He laid on the ground for a couple of minutes. Eventually Harris got up and walked off under his own power. He went to the locker room to get examined and his status remains un known for the remainder of the game.

Harris has returned to the field, in full uniform. His status was questionable so we don’t know if he is returning to the game or is just on the sideline supporting his team. Being in full uniform is a positive sign though.

As much as Harris wants to be in the game, and as much as Cowboys fans want him in the game, if it is a head injury it might be best for his health to sit out the remainder of the game.

[UPDATE:] Dwayne Harris has returned to the game and returned a kick off.
