This has to be one of the most intriguing match ups on Sunday. The Carolina Panthers are on a 4 game winning streak and sitting at 5-3, while the San Francisco 49ers have been cruising to a 6-2 start and are on their own 5 game win streak. It also pits two mobile quarterbacks with strong arms against one another in Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The Panthers are thinking about the playoffs for the first time in a while.

“I think we can be a playoff team because of the things we’ve done and because of the way we’re playing,” Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said, via ESPN. “If we had played like this, consistent all the way through, who knows? We have a great opportunity and a challenge in front of us. The chances can be limitless. But we have to play that way. Just because we’re doing it now doesn’t mean it is automatic.”
