  1. Florida State Seminoles: With Oregon’s loss, all the ‘Noles have to do is not lose from here on out and they’ll be headed for a shot at the national title in January. They made another statement against Wake Forest this week, and will now welcome in a struggling Syracuse program into Tallahassee on Saturday.
  2. Clemson Tigers: The Tigers had some rest this week as they get ready for a showdown with a tricky Georgia Tech squad on Thursday.
  3. Duke Blue Devils: Yes, you are reading this correctly. David Cutcliffe and his impressive team got their seventh win of the season on Saturday and may see themselves playing Florida State in December in Charlotte for the ACC crown.
  4. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets: Paul Johnson and company had the week off as they prepare to head to Death Valley Thursday to take on Clemson.
  5. Virginia Tech Hokies: The Hokies took advantage of a reeling Miami team who were coming off a beatdown by Florida State. This week, they’ll welcome in a battered Maryland team into Blacksburg.
  6. Miami Hurricanes: After such a hot start, we’re now beginning to find out that this team wasn’t all that good to begin with.  Next, they have a date with a Duke team that is very focused on winning the ACC Coastal.
  7. Pitt Panthers: Paul Chryst and his team had a huge victory over Notre Dame at home. Now, they’ll have a chance to get that coveted sixth win when they welcome in North Carolina this week.
  8. North Carolina Tar Heels: They were impressive with QB Marqise Williams at the helm against Virginia, and they’ll see if they can keep it going by beating a confident Pitt team this week.
  9. Boston College Eagles: It was a close one against New Mexico State, but the Eagles survived to get their fifth win on the year. Now, they’ll try to gain bowl eligibility against a not-so-good N.C. State team.
  10. Syracuse Orange: After getting their second win in a row, they now have to travel to Florida State. A Florida State team that now has their sights set on securing their slot in the BCS title game. This probably won’t end well for ‘Cuse.
  11. Wake Forest Demon Deacons: One week after being shut out by Syracuse, they were thrashed by FSU on Saturday. They’ll now get a much-needed week off.
  12. Maryland Terrapins: After a 20-3 loss to Syracuse, this program may just want to end this season and head off to the Big Ten already.
  13. N.C. State Wolfpack: They were the latest victim of the tough Duke team and will also have another tough task this week when they travel to Boston College.
  14. Virginia Cavaliers: Mike London will not–and cannot–be the coach of this team next season.
