The Buffalo Bills watched wide receiver Stevie Johnson leave Week 10 early and his status moving forward is unknown, but they also have another top wideout who is currently attempting to work his way back to the field.

Rookie receiver Robert Woods, who has been one of the team’s most consistent wideouts this season, missed the team’s match up against the Pittsburgh Steelers and he could be in danger of missing yet another week as Bills head coach Doug Marrone announced the team is leaning towards holding him out of Week 11.

From the Bills official Twitter account:

Holding out Woods would be a smart move for the Bills.

By keeping him out of this week’s match up against the New York Jets, they would give him two full weeks to recover.

If he were to rush back this week, Woods would risk further injury that could ultimately keep him sidelined for the remainder of the season.
