Twitter trolls harass a New York Times reporter named Jonathan Martin

There has been some backlash from NFL fans directed at Miami Dolphin offensive tackle Jonathan Martin. The fans not showing support are calling him awful things for him “not being a man.” They feel like an NFL player should be more tolerant to the bullying he endured and by speaking up he is weak.

So the trolls on the internet are searching for Martin on Twitter. The only problem is that the first person, and verified account, that comes up is @jmartNYT, which belongs to New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin. The Martin that plays for the Miami Dolphins’ Martin is @J_Martin71. You think the number and the NYT would help people identify the difference between the two, but sometimes you’re just in too big of a rush.
