Editor’s NoteFanSided partner FanDuel is hosting a one-week $250 Fantasy Football league for Week 10. It’s free to join and first prize is $50. Starts Sunday at 1pm ET. Here’s the link.

In most fantasy football leagues, the playoffs are just a few weeks away meaning it’s time to add the finishing touches to your team for the playoff push. The Cowboys and Rams are taking the week off this week, but the other 30 NFL teams give us a solid week 11 slate.

If injured or ineffective players are cluttering your roster, there continue to be plenty of options on the waiver wire that can boost your team to vicotry in the coming weeks.

Each Tuesday right here on Fansided.com you can find the top 10 waiver wire pickups for the coming week. In each top 10, you’ll find at least one quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end as well as a team defense with a favorable matchup in case you are streaming defenses or looking for a one-week fill in.

Throughout the rest of the week, keep coming back to Fansided’s fantasy page where you’ll find continuing coverage and analysis to help you get the win you need in week 11 as you jockey for playoff position coming down the stretch.

All players on this list or in the “best of the rest” on the final page are available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues as of Monday and their ownership percentages are included in parentheses. That means that some of the players on the list in the past (last week’s post available here) like Keenan Allen, Zac Stacy, Harry Douglas, Jordan Reed (pictured above), Danny Woodhead, Alshon Jeffery, Jordan Cameron, Julius Thomas, Chris Ivory, and Julian Edelman are no longer eligible to appear even though they still make good pickups if they’re available.

If you’re not sure about your waiver claim or want some personalized advice, feel free to ask me on twitter @ZT_Sports or include the question in a comment at the bottom of the page. I’ll do my best to answer all your questions as quickly as possible.

All scoring references are from NFL.com’s default scoring which simply is used to give a common baseline to work from. Adjust appropriately your team and league scoring system.

Here’s my top ten additions headed into week 11:

What do you think about the defenses for this week. I want to start Kansas City but am afraid of Peyton Manning.

    • Fantasy CPR

How does your league score defenses? If it penalizes heavily for giving up points or yards, it may be time to look elsewhere. If it emphasizes sacks/turnovers, then KC is still a good play this week since they’re at such an elite level and the Broncos haven’t been protecting Peyton as well…

      • Zack Braun

Thank You. I think I will stick with KC then. The league is just default yahoo scoring settings. So it does give really good bonuses for sacks/turnovers but also penalizes for giving up points only, not yards.

Hey ZT, 8 Man Standard Scoring league 2 WR, 2 RB, and Flex
Which two wide receiver’s do I start J. Gordon, V. Cruz, D. Amendola, J. Nelson?
I would normally say Cruz and Nelson but Cruz has been doing nothing and with Green Bay using a 3rd string QB Nelson’s value hurts a lot too.
Also I was planning on starting Ridley, MJD, and Fred Jackson for my 2 RB’s and flex this week. Would one of my above receiver’s be worth starting for flex over one of these RB’s?

    • Fantasy CPR

Josh Gordon is definitely worth a start, but the tricky thing is where to work him in. I think I’d start Ridley/Jackson at RB with Cruz/Nelson/Gordon as WR this week. Nelson and Cruz actually play each other in a game that should have plenty of passing yards up for grabs. I think they’ll both be decent based on matchup but you’ve got a tricky situation with several players right around the same level…

Thanks ZT, I did put up a waiver wire for Andre Brown and Riley Cooper. If I get either one or both do I start them over what I got?

      • John

Hey Fantasy CPR, I had the last waiver wire so some of the better pick ups were taken but I picked up Rashad Jennings. With McFadden out again is he worth starting over one of my other running backs or Josh Gordan on flex this week?

  • Amy Halloran-Hart

Im a rookie to fantasy this year and I really need a win this week. I have Brees, A. Green who ill be starting. But then i have Torrey S, Denarius Moore, K Allen & K Stills for my W.R. Im not sure if i should play 3 w.r. this week and 2 backs or vice versa. My backs are C. ivory, Ray Rice, Pierre Thomas & D Williams. Also i need to know which T.E. you recommend out of Clark or J Carlson. Please help I greatly appreciate it.
