The Miami Dolphins lost to maybe the worst team in the NFL on Monday night, when they were beaten by the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

But, that’s the least of their worries at the moment. They still have the black cloud of the Richie Incognito-Jonathan Martin situation hanging over their heads, which may also have been a reason for the unexpected loss to the Bucs.

Now, according to a new development from Sports Illustrated’s Jim Trotter who appeared on radio this morning, Martin was fined by his Miami teammates for being, “too soft.”:

"“I spoke to one player who was on the Dolphins the last couple of years, and we were speaking about Jonathan Martin, and he said that the Dolphins have what they call a ‘sensitivity fine,’ and it’s for players that they deem to be soft on or off the field. And he said that they repeatedly targeted Jonathan Martin for that to the point that one time — whether it was playful or not — they even talked about fining him a game check because he was so soft.”"

This would be yet another stunning development, due to the fact that I would assume that if this is true, they’ll need to find out who the other players were.

Everything regarding this situation has quickly grew from a conflict between two teammates, into a giant investigation into the entire Miami Dolphins organization.
