Seattle Seahawks’ Percy Harvin on social media: ‘It’s go time’; Returning for Week 11?
By Bryan Rose
On Monday afternoon, the Seattle Seahawks activated wide receiver Percy Harvin Physically Unable to Perform list and today, Harvin declared himself back as he tweeted ‘it’s go time’ on Twitter:
"It’s go time"
A simple, yet, so important message for Seahawks faithful.
Harvin of course was a prized offseason acquisition, though, a hip injury possibly ended his season before it began.
Treatment and extensive rehab was able to save the season of Harvin, who judging by the activation and his own tweet, suggests he’ll be on the field when the Seahawks host the Minnesota Vikings – Harvin’s former team.
Obviously, after missing training camp and the first ten weeks of the NFL season, Harvin will take it slow out of the gate as he’ll be put on an unannounced snap count. How effective Harvin will be this season remains to be seen, though considering the Seahawks are giving heavy snap counts to Doug Baldwin, the addition of Harvin should immediately improve their receiver corps, completely healthy or not.
It will be Harvin’s first NFL action in over a year.
