There are a few places you don’t want to be on a basketball court during warmups. One of those is behind the basket.

Yet, it seems quite often we see broadcasters lining up on the baseline to deliver their report. Of course, more times than not, nothing happens but every so often a ball goes wayward, which unfortunately happened as the Cleveland Cavaliers were warming up to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday evening.

Camera broadcasting and mic feeding audio, Allie Clifton was giving some pre-game information to the studio crew when a ball came bumbling towards her. Clifton was completely unaware of the incoming rock, but came away completely unfazed by the clobbering, not even skipping a beat during her live feed.

Clifton, being the trooper she is, even made a little joke during the game on Twitter:

"@JevonFrazier The game is in my blood – nothing gets me rattled. 😉"

It may not be a Pam Oliver, football to the fact, but it may be time to move reports out of the action area.
