After having 10 children with 8 different women, New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie decided enough was enough.  According to a book coming out about the 2011 Jets season, Collision Low Crossers: A Year Inside the Turbulent World of NFL Football written by Nicholas Dawidoff, the potent defensive back made the decision to have a vasectomy late in the 2011 season.  The book will be on shelves next week.

Cromartie has made news for his trouble naming all of his children on Hard Knocks on HBO as well as the fact that a significant number timed up to be right after the 2007 season; a year in which the corner had 10 interceptions with the San Diego Chargers.

Cromartie is married and has been since 2010.  Currently, Cromartie is in his 8th season in the NFL and his 4th with the Jets.  The 5-4 Jets are coming off of their bye week and are preparing to go on the road to take on the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park as they try to keep their playoff hopes alive.
