I’m not one who’s usually very big on team specific songs crafted up by fans as more times than not, they’re not very good. From being poorly mixed to sounding as if somebody rapped/sang into the microphone on their smartphone and recorded the mix under water, often times you can’t sit through more than a few seconds of the audio.

I can’t say the same for this new Kansas City Chiefs anthem from Mizznekol though, which was brought to light by Kissing Suzy Kolber.

Granted, the music is certainly an acquired taste if you’re not a rap fan, but that doesn’t take away from the effort put into the song and the video.

As KSK points out, the song is riddled with statistical inaccuracies but really – who cares whether or not the Chiefs lead the league in interceptions or not, right? Finding a word to rhyme with interception is difficult enough.

It should be pointed out, there are a few quick moments of NSFW wordage in the song (you may not even catch them), but it’s a solid watch – especially if you’re a Chiefs fan.
