The Seattle Seahawks activated wide receiver Percy Harvin this week from the Physically Unable to Perform list.  Thursday, he took another step forward as he tries to get back on the field by fully participating in practice with pads and no limitations.  The Seahawks have been able to cruise to to a 9-1 record and the leader not only for the NFC West division crown, but also a favorite to win home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Seahawks have been good as they prepare to take on the Minnesota Vikings, Harvin’s former team, but they are trying to get healthy with all of their explosive playmakers available as they have some big games heading down the stretch.  After the Vikings, the Seahawks go on their bye week before they take on the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers; two games that could ultimately determine their ability to clinch home field throughout the playoffs.  This is extremely important to the Seahawks as they have perhaps the best home field advantage in the NFL and would give them a significant advantage as they attempt to get to the Super Bowl this year.
