Chris Bosh block leads to LeBron James dunk (GIF)

The Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat are squaring off from South Beach tonight. This had become quite the rivalry following their previous meetings in NBA Finals but has lost some luster since the Mavericks beat the Heat in the 2011 NBA Finals.

The Mavs let players leave in order to clear salary cap space to sign big free agents, which they got absolutely zero of. The Heat went on to win two consecutive NBA titles. The Mavs squeaked into the playoffs one season and missed them the next.

The Mavericks have gotten off to a fast start and are leading the Heat. There was an early high light from the Heat though. Chris Bosh blocked a shot at one and and it Dwyane Wade gets the ball and chucks the ball down court to LeBron James who is racing towards the hoop. Then LeBron elevates and slams it home.
