There has been a lot of talk comparing Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant to Detroit Lions received Calvin Johnson. When they squared off, Bryant scored more touchdowns but Johnson had the more impressive game. This week the Lions take on the Pittsburgh Steelers and safety Ryan Clark says no one compares to Megatron.

“I would compare Calvin to a young Randy Moss, but what Calvin does better is his run after catch,” Clark said, via MLive.com’s Justin Rogers. “He’s a physical player, so he’s a tough matchup. I guess if you get the best things from the best players in every era, you might be able to come up with Calvin if you put all those things together. But no one guy compares to him.”

Last season, Johnson broke the single season receiving record with 1,964 yards. He is on an incredible pace again this week despite missing a week and playing injured in another. In the 8 games Johnson has played he has caught 53 passes for 904 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin gave some insight on how they plan on covering Megatron.

“We’re no different than anybody else,” Tomlin said. “We’re going to try to mix some things up from a coverage standpoint, obviously work to try to minimize his impact on the game. But that’s been done nine times this year and he’s averaging 100 yards a game and a touchdown a game.”
