Things were going so well for the Tennessee Titans during their Thursday night matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
Leading 14-0 after the first quarter, things were looking great for Tennessee. Then the third quarter happened, which included an inexplicable fumble on a kickoff, giving the Colts prime field position. That would be the start of the crumble, which allowed the Colts to come back from their double digit deficit, winning 30-27.
The game wasn’t without some highlight moments, though it was the follies that caught the eye of many which included a dancing fan, a disgusting cheap shot to the head of Titans tight end Delanie Walker and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick busting out his acting skills.
Fitzpatrick, who has taken over for the injured Jake Locker was flushed out of the pocket and was rushing towards the end zone before a collection of Indianapolis Colts greeted him on 3rd and 11. The Colts had just been flagged for penalties on three consecutive plays.
Expecting a big hit to come (or attempting to emulate an NBA player), Fitzpatrick made his way out of bounds and braced himself for the pop, falling to the ground with authority as if he was hit by a moving car. Of course, nobody laid more than a hand on him at most, creating quite a chuckle.
