Large flags the size of the field have become the norm at big sporting events. No pre-game festivity is complete without one. The flag was spread out over the course of the field and things were going well, and then it ripped.

That is right, the large American flag ripped and began to blow away towards the sideline. That part of the country had been plagued with heavy wins and that likely played a role in the accident.
