Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been in the center of trade rumors for the past couple of weeks, but he has been strongly denying those rumors despite the media — specifically Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network — sticking to his guns.

The conflicting reports have left people wondering where the truth lies and the latest reports seem to indicate that the trade rumors are “totally, totally false”, a source told CBS’ Jason La Canfora.

Roethlisberger has continuously said that he wants to finish out his career in Pittsburgh, so we will have to see if he gets his wish.

No matter what the reports are stating, the only people who know with 100 percent certainty about what the future holds for the quarterback in the Steel City are the men running the organization.

If the team doesn’t turn things around over the next two months, there will be plenty of changes and Roethlisberger being shown the door could very well be one of them.
