We’ve been seeing all sorts of incredible plays in NFL games around the league, but the best play on Sunday might have come from the NBA. The Detroit Pistons were taking on the Los Angeles Lakers for the Staples Center in Southern California. Brandon Jennings was leading the Pistons down the court.

That is when Jennings throws the ball up at the glass, it bounces off and a charging Andre Drummond on the other side of the lane slams it home. This is already the front-runner for the alley-oop of the season and we’re only three weeks in.

The Pistons could be making a case that they should take the Clipper’s “Lob City” title. I nominate Lob-town, to play off Motown.
