Sunday, the Detroit Lions traveled east to Pittsburgh to take on the 3-6 Pittsburgh Steelers. The Lions’ offense has been a bit resurgent as of late and they’re looking to continue that trend against a Steelers defense that has struggled at times.

Sometimes in the NFL, though, no matter how good you are, you need some breaks to go your way, and that’s what happened early on in this one.

Lions’ versatile running back Reggie Bush took the ball and went right into the heart of the Pittsburgh defense. The only thing was, it seemed as if he couldn’t keep it in his possession. He was hit hard, and it appears as if the ball came loose before his knee hit the ground:

The call on the field was rather different. This wasn’t ruled a fumble, but rather they ruled that Bush’s knee had hit the ground before the ball came out.

What’s your opinion? Was it a fumble upon further review? Or, was that knee down?
