Another week of NFL action is ahead of us and this is a fairly exciting line up of games. Unfortunately for CBS, most of the quality and intriguing games are on either FOX or NBC. The Sunday Night Football game, between the Chiefs and the Broncos, is the match of the weekend.

CBS’s line up includes the Ravens-Chicago Games. That is their best game and it is getting the majority of the coverage. It has most of the mid-Atlantic coast down through South Carolina. It reaches across the top of the map from Chicago and the midwest to Seattle, though most of that area is rather unpopulated. Then it stretches down Mississippi River from Chicago to New Orleans and spills over into North Texas.

In the early slot for Fox they have the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles game taking front stage. Tha has the majority of the map and the rest is regional coverage based on teams. For instance, only a part of North Florida and Arizona are getting the Cardinals-Jaguars game. Georgia and Atlanta are getting the Falcons-Bucs game, along with New Orleans and Tampa Bay. That divisional game impacts the New Orleans Saints. Then Pennsylvania and up to the Dakotas along the top of the map get the Lions-Steelers game.

In the later slot, the Saints-49ers game gets the prime coverage. The stretch of country along the Canadian border from Minnesota to Seattle get the Vikings-Seahawks game. While the Chicago, Wisconsin, Michigan, and New York areas get the Packers-Giants game.
