On Sunday the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints player in a hard-fought game at the Superdome. In the fourth quarter, 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks laid a big hit on Saints quarterback Drew Brees. That play had a huge impact on the game.

Brooks hit Brees across the chest with his arm and sacked him. That blow forced a fumble that 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis recovered, and it looked like the 49ers defense made a big, and potentially game saving play. However, Brooks was flagged on the play and the Saints got the ball back and the first down.

It was still a big hit. You can see Brees’ head stay in place as his body takes off with Brooks. So with a hit this big it was almost inevitable that some one would add former WWE commentator Jim Ross’ voice to it.

What is interesting here is that it isn’t the usual audio from Jim Ross here. The “they killed him, they killed him. With God as my witness, I think he is dead.”

They used audio from a clothes-line delivered in the WWE. It is still some of the same over dramatic screaming from Jim Ross and it is pretty awesome.

For the record, Ahmad Brooks didn’t agree with the penalty. He called it “bull s***” and said football is “watered down.
