The Miami Heat continue to monitor guard Dwyane Wade’s minutes in an attempt to keep him healthy throughout the season.

The veteran has already missed one game on the second night of a back-to-back, but did play in a 110-104 victory over the Dallas Mavericks Friday night and a 97-81 win over the Charlotte Bobcats Saturday night (although he only saw 23 minutes of action against the Bobcats).

The 31-year old Wade is putting up 16.7 points, 5.2 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game.

Obviously, the two-time defending champions are more worried about keeping their older team healthy for another postseason run.

Allen, who is battling an illness, is averaging 11.0 points, 3.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game while Haslem, who has been hampered by back problems, is scoring 3.0 points and grabbing 2.5 rebounds per game.
