Brandon Jacobs and Jason Pierre-Paul won’t practice today
By David Miniel
Have no fear New York Giants fans, just because Brandon Jacobs and Jason Pierre-Paul won’t be practicing today doesn’t mean they’ll miss Sunday’s game.
Right now it looks like it’s just an extra day of rest for the power house running back and a defensive tackle looking to have a break out game on Sunday.
Pierre-Paul has had somewhat of a disappointing season as he’s only recorded 26 total tackles and just two sacks. He’s pretty much having the same kind of season Chicago Bears defensive end Julius Peppers is having. But there’s still a lot of time to improve those numbers.
Now he battled through a sore shoulder in his last game and looked pretty decent. He managed to record one tackle for a loss and had an interception that he returned for a touchdown. He should be good to go as the New York Giants will host the Dallas Cowboys.
Same games for running back Brandon Jacobs who is nursing a sore knee. It’s just a day off, but he’ll more than likely be used as a short yardage back and goal-line situations.
