Earlier in the day, we brought you word that the Brooklyn Nets would be without Brook Lopez and Andrei Kirilenko for another game, but when the team takes the court against the Charlotte Bobcats, they’ll reportedly have a familiar face in the lineup.

Multiple outlets are now reporting that Nets point guard Deron Williams will return to the lineup on Wednesday after a 2-game absence due to his ongoing ankle issues. However, it is almost as important for Brooklyn to have an unencumbered Williams in the lineup, and that’s apparently the case in this game.

Stefan Bondy’s assurance that Williams will be “all systems go” here is absolutely huge for Brooklyn. In spite of the hype that surrounded the acquisitions of both Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, this is a different team when Deron is 100% healthy, and he should be the best player on a team of stars.

It remains to be seen how healthy Williams looks tonight, but it’s unquestionably positive to see him back on the floor.
