Well it looks as if the Minnesota Vikings have given up on Josh Freeman and from the sounds of it, could be doing the same when it comes to Matt Cassel.

Now Ponder was benched during Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks after they were picked apart like they were a tiny fish. This team has struggled all season, something I didn’t really expect. I thought this team would be a serious contender for the division, but things haven’t worked out that way this year.

This team is currently sitting at the bottom of the league and has a chance to lock up a top five pick in next years draft. So it doesn’t really matter which quarterback they decide to go with, but I’m not quite sure if they’ll be able to finish the season strong.

When the off-season rolls around, I expect everybody but Ponder to be dumped. Frazier clearly thinks that Ponder gives this team the best chance to win against Green Bay and will more than likely become a back up to whoever they draft next year.

What do you think Vikings fans? Who should the team roll with for the remainder of the season and do you think they clean house at the position during the off-season?
