The New York Giants are on a 4 game winning streak that followed an 0-6 start to the season. One of the reasons for the return has been their play on defense has been the return of defensive end Justin Tuck’s health. Some speculated that his career was coming to an end, and even Tuck had doubts about whether he’d return to form.

“Sure,” Tuck said, via the Newark Star-Ledger. “Considering the success I’ve had in my career, and understanding that mentally I can still play the game at a very high level. But when your body isn’t allowing you to do that in those said years, you start to wonder if your body is going to respond back to when the game was easy. I feel great this year, I think my play is showing that. This is a sign of things to come for me to get back to the ultimate goal.”

Tuck said he feels better than he has in years, specifically Tuck said since “the end of 2009, maybe.”

Good news for the Giants who are looking to drawing blood against the Dallas Cowboys this weekend. They’ll face an offense that is struggling and again is dealing with some injuries along the line.
