As a former football player myself, I remember getting asked a familiar question constantly. “What do you guys do when you have to go use the restroom?” It’s certainly not as if you can ask the referee to stop the game because you have to make a quick run to the bathroom to relieve yourself.

Well, for Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder provided his truthful answer in an interview with ESPN where he made it seem pretty simple.

He just urinated himself right there on the field. Problem solved.

I will say that from my time working in the football industry, I have had a few players express this solution to me as well, although never in an on-the-record type setting. Although, anyone who knows Crowder and his personality knows that him being the one disclosing this on national television isn’t all that shocking.

Plus, don’t think for a second that he’s the only one doing it before anyone wants to cast judgement. Just like a lot of things, he’s the only one willing to admit it.
