Opposing secondaries have been doing a great job against Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, thanks to double teams and the focus that they put on the team’s star wideout. The Cowboys Week 12 opponent, the New York Giants, have their own plan to slow down Bryant and it involves getting right in his face early in the game.

So, how do you shut down Dez Bryant?

Get your hands on him,” safety Will Hill said, via  Justin Raanan of the Newark Star-Ledger. “He doesn’t like to be touched, like most receivers in this league. But really him. He doesn’t like to be touched.”

Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara echoed those comments.

“You just have to be physical with him,” Amukamara said. “He’s a big guy. You just have to use his medicine against him. I think that is the key.”

Bryant is a bigger wide receiver that shouldn’t shy off from the early contact, but as long as the Giants are able to disrupt his rhythm with quarterback Tony Romo they could find themselves successful.

Teams have been doing well the past couple of weeks, so we will have to see if the Giants cando the same.

If not, Bryant could go off and help lift the Cowboys over the Giants as both teams attempt to catch the Philadelphia Eagles atop the NFC East.
