The New York Giants defense, led by defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, is doing a lot of trash talking before their coming match up against the Dallas Cowboys. This is already an NFC East rivalry game that doesn’t need additional hype, but Pierre-Paul is talking so much you would think he is trying to sell pay-per-views for a boxing match.

Earlier in the week Pierre-Paul made a strong prediction about the Cowboys game.

“We’re going to put it on them, man,” Pierre-Paul said, via Dan Graziano of ESPN.com. “I’m pretty sure the offense is going to get going. The defense is going to get going even more. And the special teams will contribute to it.

“It’s going to be a fight. It’s going to be a dogfight. There’s going to be a lot of blood spilled out there.”

He isn’t backing off his comments as the game approaches. He got specific regarding Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

“At the end of the day it don’t matter what quarterback’s in the game or whatever, because we going to hunt, that is what we do up front,” Pierre-Paul told NFL Network’s “NFL AM” Friday . “…Whatever we going to do, we’re going to hunt. Tony Romo is a good quarterback but we’re going to get after him this week.”

An interesting choice of words from the always erudite Mr. Pierre-Paul.

I wonder how statements like his would be taken by the media if he and Romo’s roles were reversed?

If I were coach I would post this article on the screen at the offensive meeting and show it to the linemen and demand they take this personal! The Giants are telling everyone in America they are coming after your quarterback “what are you going to do about it”. This team lacks FIRE! The one person that displayed any type of emotion was the headline on all sporting channels for an entire week. Give it He!! Dez This team has a chance at showing the entire football world that no matter how bad things look you can still unite as players and coaches, rally and kick some tale. JPP should be getting off the ground every play. Use a tightened or running back to chip him hard every down.
