Adrian Peterson active vs Packers

The Minnesota Vikings are hoping to play spoiler on Sunday and upset the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Their chances were in jeopardy with the news that both starting running back Adrian Peterson and wide receiver Greg Jennings were listed as questionable, but the team got some good news just over an hour before kickoff.

When the list of inactives for the game were released, Adrian Peterson was good to go.

Another plus for the Vikings is that Jennings was also listed as active.

It was crucial for the Vikings offense to have two of their top playmakers for the game, so they have to be happy to have them out on the field.

Without Jennings and Peterson, the Vikings chances of upsetting the Packers would have taken a big hit, but now they are close to full strength and will be looking to get a good result out on the field.

Kickoff for the game is set for 1 p.m. ET.
