Not much has gone right for the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. The Denver Broncos have scored on a 60 yard fumble return and recovered two other fumbles that eventually led to 10 more points.
But, it was the Broncos that coughed it up on this play to end the first half. New England was forced to punt from the precipice of their own end zone with 15 seconds left in the second quarter.
Trindon Holliday muffed the punt return – in rather hilarious looking fashion — and Patriots’ corner Marquice Cole recovered in Denver territory.

Tom Brady and the Patriots didn’t capitalize and the game went into the half at 24-0, Broncos.
New England came out in the third quarter and engineered an 8 play, 80 yard drive that culminated in a 5 yard Tom Brady pass to Julian Edelman to get the Patriots on the board and bring them within 24-7.
Peyton Manning has gone a rather pedestrian 9-of-15 for 54 yards and a touchdown. But, they haven’t needed a ton of passing yards as of yet with the defense setting up 17 points and running back Knowshon Moreno gashing to the tune of 21 carries for 126 yards.
