The Dallas Cowboys are attempting to take down the New York Giants and keep pace with the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East, but they made a huge mistake in the third quarter that allowed New York to draw closer.

After Giants tight end Brandon Myers hauled in a pass from Eli Manning on 4th and 3, Myers went down to the ground.

That is normally where you would decide to touch the player to make sure he is down, but the Dallas defense apparently forgot to tackle. Cowboys linebacker Bruce Carter watched Myers go to the ground, then he just jogged by him. Myers made the heads up play to realize he wasn’t touched and galloped into the endzone as Cowboys fans were left shaking their heads.

It doesn’t get much more embarrassing than this.
