The Baltimore Ravens pulled out the wild cat formation a few times on Sunday. That had quarterback Joe Flacco move out to wide receiver and back up quarterback Tyrod Taylor lining up behind center. Taylor is more mobile than Flacco but he still wasn’t thrilled with the play.

I want to line up behind center,” Flacco said, via ESPN. He did add that it was “fun for a little bit, but that’s it.”

The Ravens did get a 19-3 win over the New York Jets. That has them in the hunt for a Wild Card playoff berth with a 5-6 record.

“Every week is a must-win,” said Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith, via the Baltimore Sun. “If you lose, things aren’t going to be looking pretty for you. We just have to keep giving ourselves a fighting chance.”

Still, it is a tight race for the Wild Card spot, and the Ravens know it is important to win as the season winds down.

“This is November-December football,” said Ravens coach John Harbaugh. “It’s how you have to play to win in November and December … in this part of the country.”
