On Sunday, it became widely reported that recording artist Jon Bon Jovi was interested in becoming an NFL owner and that he was in pursuit of buying the Buffalo Bills, but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves.

After looking into the situation more and speaking with Bon Jovi’s representative, Ken Sunshine, it doesn’t look like that team will be the Bills. Sunshine told the Associated Press that Bon Jovi is in fact interested in becoming an NFL owner, but the idea that he is actively pursuing the Bills is “preposterous.”

We could eventually see the day where Bon Jovi finds himself in position to buy a franchise, but if he would become interested in the Bills he would need to outbid Rogers Communications of Toronto.

Rogers Communication currently owns the Toronto Blue Jays and they are a main reason that people believe the team could move to Toronto down the road, and they would have a much easier time of placing a successful bid than just one man.
