The Kansas City Chiefs watched their top two pass rushers go down to injury on Sunday night during their loss to the San Diego Chargers. Tamba Hali suffered an ankle injury during the game, while Justin Houston suffered a sublexed elbow — which means it popped in and out of socket on the field.

Neither player was able to return to the field.

Many are wondering whether or not the two players will be able to take the field next week when the Chiefs host the Denver Broncos and we will know more after the MRI results today come back in. As far as Hali is concerned, it isn’t looking good.

During an appearance on ESPN’s SportsCenter, Adam Schefter stated that it would be a “stretch” to think Hali will be able to suit up in Week 13.

The initial diagnosis for Hali was a “mid-inside ankle sprain,” but we will know about his availability next week for certain once the team let’s us in on the results.
