Aaron Rodgers returns to Packers practice

If you run into a Green Bay Packers fan today, there is a good chance that they will be walking around with a pep in their step and a big smile. No, it’s not because they are excited about the holidays and the fact that they can scoop up some discounted electronics, they are thrilled because Aaron Rodgers has returned to practice.

Rodgers was seen out on the practice field tossing the ball around and working with the team, which you can see in the photo below:

Of course, it doesn’t mean that Rodgers has been cleared for contact just because he was able to return to the practice field and it is still unlikely that he will suit up for the team’s Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions. However, his return is drawing closer.

We will learn more about Rodgers’ status once head coach Mike McCarthy speaks with the media at the conclusion of the practice session.
