BCS National Championship odds
The folks over at Bovada have once again been kind enough to send over their current BCS National Championship odds.
With an easy 49-0 win over the Chattanooga Mocs, the Alabama Crimson Tide remain the overwhelming favorite to win the BCS national title with even odds. The Auburn Tigers saw their odds make a huge jump from 33/1 to 12/1 because the Baylor Bears had their title hopes ruined by the Oklahoma State Cowboys, who now have 100/1 odds to win the title after blowing out the Bears 49-17. The Bears’ loss also helped the Ohio State Buckeyes’ odds climb from 10/1 to 6/1.
The Tide will travel to Auburn to take on the Tigers Saturday and a win would not only send the Tigers to the SEC title game, but could give them a chance to jump the undefeated Buckeyes despite a road loss to the LSU Tigers earlier this season. The winner of the Iron Bowl will earn the right to play in that title game against the Missouri Tigers, if they can beat the Texas A&M Aggies Saturday. If the the Tigers can win both of those game, they could have a BCS title argument of their own, especially if the Buckeyes are defeated by the Michigan Wolverines or Michigan State Spartans in the next two weeks.
The Florida State Seminoles continue to have the second best odds and play for the title if they beat the Florida Gators and win the ACC championship a week later.
