Washington Wizards’ point guard John Wall received a max contract from the Wizards in the offseason and is trying to prove he deserved it.
Over the last few games, her certainly has. Wall has scored 68 total points (34.0 per game) over his last two games and is impressing again in Tuesday’s home game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Wall has scored 20 points on eight-of-15 shooting and has a couple of highlight reel worth dunks, but his passing might be the most impressive and highlight-worthy part of Tuesday night’s game. Wall has dished out eight assists and here were two of his most impressive dimes of the night.
First, Wall looks like he is going to take Lakers’ point guard Steve Blake off of the dribble, something he’s been able to do throughout the game, but instead he see veteran big man Nene Hilario make a beautiful cut towards the basket and makes a perfect pass around Blake while Nene finishes with the jam.
The Wizards lead the Lakers 103-101 late in the fourth quarter.
