Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick appears healthy and able to return to the team’s starting line up, but it is too late. After some great success since taking over for Vick as the team’s starter, Nick Foles has finally learned that he will remain the team’s starting quarterback — which is a surprise to no one.

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly made the announcement on Tuesday morning while speaking to the press, but he had previously been non-committal to any form of official announcement. That all changes now.

Not only will Foles be the starter for this week’s match up against the Arizona Cardinals, but Kelly plans on keeping Foles as the starter for the remainder of the season.

We all knew that it was likely Foles would remain the starter after his NFL record-tying performance against the Oakland Raiders, which included a whopping seven touchdown passes, but now we won’t have to speculate any longer.

For Vick, it is very possible that his time as the Eagle’s starter has come to an end.
