Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson has been becoming more and more frustrated by the week as his team continues to lose, but they were able to get back in the win column in Week 11 before they entered their bye week.

With a week to reflect on the way their season started off, Johnson took time to speak with Bills head coach Doug Marrone to clear the air and let him know what he’s been upset about. However, while speaking with Marrone, Johnson wanted to be clear that he is not upset with his teammates or coaches.

“It was cool because now he knows where my mind was,” Johnson said. “Sometimes I can be misunderstood, and I think he probably was assuming since, you know, the numbers wasn’t the same as the previous three years, he may have thought I was getting frustrated about some other things. I think it gave him peace of mind, knowing I’m not mad at him or any other player. I’m just mad at the situation, losing these games. The talent is different this year from previous years, so that’s where the frustration came from, and I think he understood that.”

It would be hard to blame Johnson if he was unhappy with the inconsistent play from quarterback, but he has still managed to be the team’s leading receiver.

Hopefully with the air now cleared, Johnson will be able to have a full focus next week and help his team get a little winning streak going.
