The Pittsburgh Steelers got off to a poor 0-4 start and it looked like they were headed for a unsalvageable season that would have led to missing the postseason yet again, but they have been able to turn things around in recent weeks and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is being rewarded for his efforts.

Roethlisberger has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for November, which has included a three-game winning streak after their blowout loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Throughout his performance, Roethlisberger has completed 97-of-157 passes for 1,188 yards, eleven touchdowns and three interceptions.

Not too shabby for a guy who was the focus of trade rumors just a few weeks ago.

While Roethlisberger has already won the November award, he still has one game remaining this month as he leads his Steelers to Baltimore for a Thanksgiving Day match up against the division rival Ravens.

The game has serious playoff implications, so he will hope to keep his momentum rolling and keep his team in the thick of the Wild Card race.
